Delta Assembly Adjourns Sitting Till 2019

Delta State House of Assembly, today, adjourened sitting till January 15th, 2019 for the Christmas season.

The adjournment followed a motion moved by the Deputy Majority Leader, Oboro Prayor and was seconded by Anthony Elekeokwuri.

After its final plenary session, the Speaker Sherif Oborevworhi commended members and non-members for a successful year while enumerating numerous achievements recorded in 2018.

The Speaker pointed out that, the house passed a good number of bills, while others still await assent.

Meanwhile, at plenary, the house approved the votes and proceedings of Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th, December 2018 after a motion moved by the Deputy Majority Leader, Oboro Preyor and seconded by Chief Whip, Pat Ajudua.
