Empowerment: Weyinmi Promise Equal Opportunities for Youths

Delta State new Commissioner of Youths Development , Mr Agbateyimiro Weyinmi has promised equal opportunities for all Youths to benefit from the  empowerment programs of the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori led administration.

Weyimi made this known on his first day of resumption at the Ministry, in Asaba.

Explaining that the administration is poised for youth inclusion , the commissioner said that a committee headed by the Director of youth mobilization has been set up to produce a template to ensure the equitable distribution of the empowerment programs for youths across the State.

While calling on all youth groups in the State to visit the Ministry for documentation so as to benefit from the empowerment programs of the administration, he promised to work with the staff in order to achieve the goal of the Ministry.

His words “In line the MORE agenda of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori , we want an all inclusive youth business. We do not want a sectional arrangement.

“We also want to use this opportunity to call on all the youth of Delta State irrespective of your background that you have been invited to be aboard for this MORE agenda so that when the dividends by way of empowerment and various Human Capital development program of the State starts coming, you will not be left out.

“That is why we deemed it necessary to set up a committee now headed by the director of youth mobilization of the ministry to help us generate a template that will accommodate the interest of all youth organization and body in the system.

“Where there was such a template, if there is need for it to be updated, this committee will take up the responsibility of updating it

“So that when we start reeling out the dividends of the MORE agenda, it will not be sectionalized . it will go round.

“We also want to use this opportunity to call on all the youth of Delta State irrespective of your background that you have been invited to be aboard to benefit from this more agenda”
