NUJ Delta Congratulates Osuoza on Appointment, Tasks New Information Commissioner on Robust Engagement

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Delta Council has  felicitated  with   Dr. Ifeanyi Michael Osuoza on his  appointment as the new honourable Commissioner for Information in the State.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement jointly signed by the State Chairman of NUJ, Comrade Churchill Oyowe,State Secretary, NUJ Delta Council, Comrade Victor Sorokwu.

“The reads in parts; This one appointment has been long in coming and we have been so eager to welcome the helmsman of one of the key ministries of the state government.

“Interestingly, the governor in his wisdom seems to have taken critical considerations in appointing someone who has been on ground and understands the terrain so well.

“We are confident that your wealth of experience as the spokesman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state should have prepared you sufficiently for the onerous task ahead of you.

“Very importantly, we are optimistic your engagement with the Union and journalists in the state will redress pervading mixed feelings and misgivings previously shared by some sections of the media.

“Once again, we congratulate you on your new role and office and pledge to work with you to deliver on the mandates of the MORE Agenda of the Rt. Hon. (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori administration.”
