Oborevwori Will Not Abandon Empowerment Programmes Of Okowa _ Delta Youth Commissioner

Delta State Commissioner of Youth Development, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi has assured that the Rt. Hon . Sheriff Oborevwori led administration will continue with all empowerment Programmes of the previous administration.
Comrade Weyinmi gave the assurance while speaking with Journalists at the Press Center, in Asaba.
Explaining that the present administration decided to adopt a dynamic approach in catering for the needs of youths, he said that the State has adopted a Youth Policy christened “M.O.R.E. YD E7 SERIES E-7’’ to enable it achieve its aim.
According to him, ‘’ YD stands for Youth Development and the E7 Series has Engagement, Education, Entrepreneurship, Employment, Exchange and Collaborative Program, Easing of all Forms of Crimes and Other Social Vices and Entertainment as its components”.
Stating that the Ministry has adopted a Comprehensive approach to youth development in the State, Weyinmi noted that all policies and Programmes of the previous administration have been harmonized under the Realistic Reforms of the MORE agenda of Oborevwori’s administration.
The Commissioner maintained that the Ministry will not focus on only entrepreneurship but also harness talents that can enable youths fend for themselves.
Urging Deltans to believe in the MORE agenda because it is realistic, he disclosed that the Ministry will soon begin a tour across the senatorial districts to feel the pulse of youths in the State.
