Showcase Delta Positively, Ijeh Tasks NAWOJ

The Commissioner for the Directorate of Culture and Tourism , Dr Darlington Ijeh has tasked the Nigeria Women of Journalists (NAWOJ to showcase Delta State and the People’s Democratic party (PDP) positively.

He made this known when the chairperson of State Chapter of NAWOJ, Comrade Sonia Unobunjo led the executives and members of the Association on a courtesy call on the commissioner, at Asaba

The commissioner said the State Government has made a lot of impact on areas of hospitality and Tourism, adding that collaboration with media is essential for the publicity of State Government’s achievements.

Encouraging Journalists to showcase the administration activi positively, he said that constructive criticism is also essential for the overall development of State.

Earlier, Comrade Unobunjo stated that NAWOJ is willing to partner with the Directorate in exploration of the State’s Tourism potential in order to bring the Culture of Deltans to limelight.

The State chairperson also appreciated Dr Ijeh for granting the Association audience while promising to ensure that the relationship between NAWOJ and the Directorate will be mutually beneficial to all and sundry.
