Delta College of Executive Assistants Passes Vote of Confidence on Gov. Oborevwori , Strategize Ahead of 2027

The Delta State College of Executive Assistants has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, citing his impressive developmental strides across the three senatorial districts of the state.
This endorsement was made during a meeting of the College of Executive Assistants held at Government House, Asaba.
Speaking during the meeting, the Chairman of the group, E.A. on Community Development, Hon. Taju Isichei, highlighted that Governor Oborevwori’s achievements in infrastructure development, payment of pension arrears, and promotion of human capital development were key reasons for the vote of confidence.
Commending the governor for not borrowing to execute and complete projects inherited from the previous administration, Hon. Isichie urged all appointees to work together to promote the governor’s MORE agenda and ensure the success of his administration.
Encouraging the appointees to initiate projects that benefit the people and promote the goodwill of the Oborevwori-led administration, he appealed to them to be impactful in their various Local Governments, Wards, and Units in order to enable the Peoples Democratic Government (PDP) to be victorious in the 2027 elections in the State.
Advising members of the college not to discuss defection from PDP with others , the Chairman of the college said the Executive Assistants should convince the people through the development strides of the Governor.
Appreciating Governor Sherrif Oborevwori for finding them worthy to serve in the capacity of EAs, Isichie noted that their appointment is not a means of employment but a call to serve the Government.
On his part, the EA on Media, who is also the Media Officer of the group, Comrade Norbert Chiazor, stated that EAs are strategic to the implementation of the MORE agenda and the success of Governor Oborevwori.
Comrade Chiazor restated the need for all appointees to go to their various units and wards and inculcate the issues of unity in Delta, power rotation, and the achievements of the Governor into Deltans.
Chiazor also urged the appointees to make use of conventional media and social media to counter the activities of the opposition political parties while amplifying the feats of the government.
Assuring that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori will be re-elected in 2027, Chiazor implored members of the college to begin their strategies on how to achieve victory in 2027.
The college however pledged overwhelming support for Governor Oborevwori’s reelection in 2027, while congratulating Governor Oborevwori on his “Governor of the Year” award.
The motion for vote of confidence was raised by E. A . Political Chief Otunba Nick Ovuakporie from Delta South, Seconded by Mr Jossy Honnah from Delta North and Olorogun Steven Eruotor from Delta Central.
The meeting ended with a communique signed by Hon.Taju Isichei ( Chairman) , Chief Duncan Ehwere (Secretary) , Pastor Powell Tos ( PRO), Hon. Nkechi Enumah-Chukura, (Welfare officer) and Comrade Norbert Chiazor ( Media officer).

COLLEGE OF EXECUTIVE ASSISTANTS (EAs) TO THE GOVERNOR: RESOLUTIONS OF ITS MEETING HELD AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE ASABA ON 12TH FEBRUARY 2025
1. The meeting profusely thanked the Delta state governor, His Excellency Rt.Hon.Sheriff Oborevwori for his magnanimous discretion in the appointment of the Executive Assistants (EAs) who are strategic stakeholders in the implementation of his laudable M.O.R.E Agenda.
2. Resolved that all Executive Assistants should work together to power the M.O.R.E Agenda development policy thrust as envisioned by our Principal Authority,Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
3. Requested every EA to continue to stand as ambassador of the governor in his of her local government area for resounding success of all government policies and programmes, designed for the betterment of Deltans and other residents.
4. Urged all appointees to always provide useful insights that would help the government to initiate socially-beneficial projects for the people.
5. Charged all to be in the frontline of highlighting the goodwill of the Oborevwori administration while discouraging all malicious tendencies of opposition elements,through proactive engagements.
6. Appealed for oneness and harmony among all appointees at all times.
7.Congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his meritorious award of the prestigious and Influential THISDAY/ARISE TV awards as GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
7. Commended the governor for his efforts in the leadership of the state so far exemplified by the provision of gigantic projects across the three senatorial districts of the state, payment of pension arears to Delta civil servants at the state and local government levels,prompt payment of workers salaries and entitlements, and human capital development resulting in the empowerment of thousands of Deltans.
8. The college of EAs in recognition of the excellent milestones recorded by His Excellency Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in the past two years, through development of social infrastructure and human empowerment across the three senatorial districts, unanimously passed a vote of confidence in the governor and pledged overwhelming support towards his reelection come 2027 by the grace of God.
