General Ochei Gives Uncle, Pa Echezona Ochei A Befitting Burial At Onicha-Olona

The award winning Maj. Gen. Raymond Nani Ochei and others from the Ochei family of Onicha-Olona have given their father, grandfather, brother and uncle a befitting burial at his family compound in Onicha-Olona community of Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State.
The burial ceremony which held on Saturday 19th April, 2025, was a huge one as people from all walks of life came to join the Ochei family to bid the 89 year old Pa Kingsley Echezona Ochei final farewell.
The funeral service held at the Church of the Ascension of the Anglican Communion in Onicha-Olona, where the guest priest representing the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Asaba, Ven. C.N. Ekwemuka taught about different stages of existence on earth and departure. He said Pa Kingsley Echezona Ochei lived a fulfilled life and departed at a very ripe age of 89 to the glory of God.
He eulogized Pa Kingsley Echezona Ochei as one of the actively dedicated founding members of the church who was philanthropically disposed to the church, positing that the church and the community would greatly miss his fatherly role and leadership qualities.
The Resident Priest also used the occasion of the burial to appreciate particularly, Maj. Gen. Raymond Nani Ochei for his consistent immense financial support to the church. The priest affirmed that he had reiterated his earlier promise of executing one of the Church building projects from the DPC level to the finish.
The man of God equally recalled that in the past, the Army General had exquisitely furnished the official residence of the priest, which was single-handedly built by Rt. Hon. Engr. Victor Onyekachi Ochei (the Olikeze of Onicha-Olona).
After the deceased was peacefully laid to rest, Maj. Gen. Raymond Nani Ochei retired to his country home where he hosted his guests to a lavished reception and presentation of different grades of souvenir to them.
