Aka Ekpuchi Onwa Group reconvenes, strategize for next political move

The Aka Ekpuchi Onwa political organization last Friday reconvened to chart the way forward for its political future in Enugu State.

The organization, which was the pilot platform of Prince Lawrence Eze in the 2019 Senatorial elections for Enugu East, became a force to reckon with during the elections, as it singlehandedly brought Enugu East APC to limelight and popularised the party in the state.

Speaking at the gathering of the group, Prince Lawrence Ezeh, AKA Prince of Mburubu, said the meeting became necessary as the family is formidable, and needed to begin early to discuss its political future in Enugu State, and Nigeria. He thanked members for remaining faithful to the ideologies of the group, and expressed hope that Aka Ekpuchi Onwa would eventually finds its place in the political equation of the state.

In his response, Chief SNC Nwagu, who is the Director General expressed happiness on the development, stating that the meeting signifies that Ezeh looks beyond political gains, and is the right kind of person to lead.

Other members of the group also made contributions to the discussion, which was accompanied with refreshments.
