2023: Omo-Agege picks Delta APC Gubernatorial Ticket

Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege has won the gubernatorial primary election  of the Delta State All Progressive Congress (APC).

The election held today, at Federal Technical College, Asaba

1235 delegates were accredited from the 25 local Government Areas of the State for the exercise.

After counting, Chairman of the election Committee , Mrs Oyibo Nwaneri, announced that Omo-Agege polled a total of 1190 votes while while one vote was invalid.

  Secretary of the election Committee, Ambassador Elijah Onyeagba thereafter  declared the Deputy Senate President as the winner of the election.
