HRM Obi Martha Dunkwu join ancestors

The Omu of Okpanam community, Her Royal Majesty, Obi Martha Dunkwu has joined her ancestors.

Okpanam is an Igbo town in Oshimili North LGA of Delta State. Omu, one of the very few female royalties in the present Igbo land, was regarded in high esteem, as she spent her lifetime promoting Igbo traditions, culture and heritage, especially with regards to Anioma land of Delta State.

Omu Martha Dunkwu served as a guardian of tradition, a guiding force in her community, and  passionate advocate.

She was an activist and women influencer.
